Calendar of Event Festival Tour

Baliem valley festival is the biggest tribes meeting along all the tribes that occupy central mountain area of Indonesian side of Papua island. Normally from August 10 till August 16 every year, all tiribes will travel to Wamena, the biggest town in central mountain. Some of the tribes will walk as far as seven days

Lake Sentani Festival usually take place at the 3rd weeks of June. In 2015, it held on 19 – 23 June with a theme of “My Cultural , My Life”. This event was held at Kalkote area, in the east of Lake Sentani. 19 participating sub districts will offer a wide range of cultural performances,
